After building Quickie Crab into one of North Texas’s most recognized destinations for bold Cajun seafood, Blain and Thanh envisioned something new: a restaurant where guests could slow down, gather, and experience seafood in a more elevated and intimate setting. The Anchor Room was born from that vision.
Blain and Thanh Bastow built their reputation from the ground up—starting with a simple mission: serve incredible seafood, treat people right, and build something meaningful in their community. What began as a fast-casual Cajun seafood kitchen quickly grew into something much larger, fueled by hard work, loyal guests, and a relentless commitment to quality.
The Anchor Room is the natural evolution of that journey.
Located within a boutique hotel environment, The Anchor Room blends coastal influences with refined technique—bringing together fresh seafood, handcrafted pastas, and thoughtfully crafted cocktails in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
